Hi, I’m Melissa, a small-town photographer with big hopes and dreams. I am a hopeless romantic that gets wrapped up in love and who is obsessed with home decor, my Dalmatian, Frank and shoes! 

Most days you will find me behind my computer either working away hard with a huge smile on my face… Or hardly working, watching my favourite TV shows: The Bachelor/Bachelorette, Survivor or The Challenge. (I wish I was as athletic and brave as the cast on these shows, 
​I guess you watch what you want to become!)

What does Melissa have to offer? Why should we hire her?
Honestly I have no good reason for you other than I am AWESOME!!!! (at least I think so...) I make your photography experience, just that, an EXPERIENCE! No one really likes to get their photo taken, especially the gents! Am I right?? We have fun together, which makes it painless and we truly get to know one another. I get lots of guys say to me after "wow that was actually pretty fun!" -plus fingers crossed but maybe we will become great friends...! You will hardly notice me taking photos unless I am falling into a fire-pit. Spoiler Alert: It was an empty fire-pit, no fire! 

​My photography style is light, honest and genuine. I believe that everyone is photogenic and has a beautiful story to be told. I make it simple by keeping it light-hearted, and focus on those precious candid moments that naturally occur between two people who are madly in love.

My favourite part of my career, would have to be the people. I get to meet plenty of folks, document one of their happiness memories and share in all the love that surrounds them. Years from now, I want you to look at your photographs and have all those memories come flooding back. The bliss, sentiment, light and laughter from your special day. It should almost be like you get to relive it all over again. 

​I am so blessed and thankful to all my clients and future clients/friends. I grow as a photographer every day, looking for new and innovated ideas. No Melissa Bride Experience is the exact same. Yes, you will have a beautiful, entertaining adventure with me but each wedding is captured in a different light then the last one. Everyone is unique!
